Polaris ranger will turn over but won.

When you stop the motor at just the right spot, the compression is to high for the starter, but once you bump over it, it goes just fine.Remove one of the coils from the spark plug. Use an extra spark plug. A spark plug tester. Or even a screwdriver in the end of the coil. Ground it on a piece of metal on the engine. Finally, have someone crank the engine and watch for a spark. Got home that night and it was pouring rain so I left it sit out in trailer overnight.

From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. I had the family with me riding one day no issues and the next day went to move and it just spins over but no fire. It has great fuel pressure, strong battery the stator checks out when testing and I’ve since replaced coil plugs and wires. I’m stumped.

Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection.
