I did not know this until I was talking to some interested passers-by at SHOT and I said they were hammer forged.

Back when they used USGI parts and before BULA started new production parts. JRA was using some Criterion barrels at that time and there was a batch that had rough chambering. My rifle was unfortunately one of them.I see dupage trading has jra m14 with bula barrels for 1995$ . Does anyone have any input on these? The reviews are kind of 50/50. A nice M14 style or M1A would round out my collection nicely. I intend to shoot matches with whatever I get.
