A300 Ultima Patrol Chokes. Just picked up a used A300 which I am thinking could be a killer turkey setup. I’m curious if anyone is running theirs for this purpose and has any specific chokes that functioned well with this model? Thanks! With the IC choke the same spread backs up to about 18 yards. With Hornady Varmint #4 Buck and MOD, I get nice patterns at 35 yards, which would be doom for coyotes and other critters. Last month I decided to upgrade my old police trade-in Rem 870 Police Magnum for a semi-auto shotgun. I narrowed my choices to either the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical or the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol. Both are excellent shotguns with similar features, gas operated, outstanding dependability, great ergonomics, and similar prices.
